This street as said is 250 years old. These vendors sell fabrics and textile at lower price. They get their stocks from Mumbai and many parts and sell them as piece wise stocks at lower price.
We can get many materials of different rates instead of getting it in big retails shop at huge prices. Here only cash is accepted and there is no credit card system, it is afforded only for regular customers. The street is left when entering N.S.C Bose road near Parrys.
So just go through the shops and be shopping spree.
