If you did not know - twitter was originally designed in ruby on rails. Ruby proudly had the twitter logo on the home page. The recasting to PHP has made ruby a bad boy, which is truly a very wrong image, one could perceive.
Yesterday, i caught the twitter whale and also the twitter catterpillar, which is a error page. very nice to be creative, but the lesson is - no matter what you code in, you can still make mistakes. Ruby on rails can still help you make applications faster and better organized than any other language.
