I asked for a design to be made, after my gimp skills were found limited. Not that i could not do anything with my gimp, in fact i could do anything i wanted, but it was more of a trend. I wanted the logo to be created in the latest trend. The provider was a manufacturer in santa clara and i designed the website for him. The logo was done in a hurry and the client said “Can we not have a better one?”
In the design trends, i should admit that these logos are professional and i lack the touch these logos boast of. Skype, twitter, photoshop, apple, silver light (surprisingly) are some of the best logos i have ever seen.
Logos of that of ea sports, playstation (what a match in the style), fedex and so many more are not mere words, they have symbolized themselves and changing the logo could mean some stock growth or crash. They lose the brand. can you imagine McDonalds changing the logo?
