Ubuntu 8.10 is fresh and near to our of the box. I used the beta versions of the Ubuntu 8.10 and was pretty cool. Now ubuntu geeks are already working on the next release. Ubuntu 9 will be called Jaunty Jackalope. People have already started working on the possible themes of the desktop for ubuntu 9 codenamed Jaunty Jackalope. The antelope thing is the focus. I use ubuntu 8.04 (hardy heron), downloaded from ubuntu in my old desktop. jaunty-jackalope will not be released till 2010. Even the requirements are not yet picked up. If you contribute to the ubuntu community visit ubuntu and participate.
