Last month i took the GRE test and i find that the standard has been increasing a lot. I am not supposed to reveal any of the questions i encountered during the exam, but i found that the Quantz test has become more sensible.
Prior to this year, the math test was a mere formality and the dumbest of the students could answer the toughest of the questions with ease. You would not imagine the ease of questions, simple multiplication and division. The verbal test made a lot of sense, but how is it related to my Graduate study?? Alright my vocabulary is weak, but i am extremely good at electronics and my GRE score hinders my admission.
Even the verbal questions these days are making a lot of sense, a lot application involved rather than using the memory. This is a very appreciative measure from GRE. If only they could integrate the process of applying various colleges with a single form, that would really mean a lot to students. Rather than wasting time repeating the first name 25 times, a single webservice would make a lot of sense.
Because of the Government involved in the project, it is not going to happen any time in the near future, so i go ahead and start applying for schools.. Grad school, here i come.
